Hooks Secure Win Against Warriors

Hooks outsted Warriors 7-4 on Sunday at Cravens Park.

Hooks added to their early lead in the bottom of the first inning after Daniel Zamora singled to center field, and Warriors committed an error, each scoring one run.

Hooks added one run in the third after Nic Nelson grounded out.

Tim Abercrombie earned the win for Hooks. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking four. PlayerG took the loss for Warriors. The hurler went four innings, surrendering three runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out six and walking two. Daniel Zamora appeared in relief for Hooks.

Rodney McDaniel, Michael Landeck, John Otterson, Brandon Collins, Tim Abercrombie, Brayden Berry, Daniel Zamora, and Nic Nelson each collected one hit for Hooks. Brandon Collins, Brayden Berry, Daniel Zamora, and Nic Nelson each drove in one run for Hooks. Hooks ran wild on the base paths, tallying four stolen bases for the game.

PlayerD and PlayerF each collected two hits for Warriors. PlayerA and PlayerG each drove in one run for Warriors. Warriors turned one double play in the game.
