
Hooks fell to #SheGone 4-3 on Sunday at McInnish Baseball Fields.
#SheGone opened the scoring in the third after Anthony Pena hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Hooks tied the game in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a double by Daniel Zamora, and an error.
#SheGone took the lead in the top of the seventh. Harrison Hess singled, scoring two runs, to give #SheGone the lead, 4-2.
Mason Meeks earned the win for #SheGone. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out 15 and walking three. Dylan Kuester took the loss for Hooks. The pitcher went four innings, allowing two runs (zero earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking two. Tim Abercrombie led things off on the hill for Hooks. The starter surrendered three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking three.
Jaxson Berry, Luis Sotomayor, Jonathan Bermudez, Gabe Baker, and Daniel Zamora each collected one hit for Hooks. Luis Sotomayor and Daniel Zamora were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Hooks. Hooks turned one double play in the game.
Harrison Hess drove the middle of the lineup, leading #SheGone with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Adrian Pena went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead #SheGone in hits.
