Peyton took the loss for Warriors. The starting pitcher went seven innings, surrendering three runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out eight and walking one.
Steven Mock and John Otterson each collected two hits for Hooks. Gabe Torres, John Otterson, and Daniel Zamora each drove in one run for Hooks. Hooks turned one double play in the game.
Malen, Drew, and Carlos each collected one hit for Warriors. Carlos went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
Hooks welcome Reds on Wednesday for their next game.
