Hooks built a 5-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off #SheGone's charge for a 6-5 victory on Sunday. #SheGone closed the gap by scoring on a single, an error, and a single.

Rodney McDaniel, Ethan Lopez, and Dylan Kuester at the bottom of Hooks's lineup combined for four of the team's seven hits in their victory. They scored one run and drove in four.

Hooks got on the board in the first inning after Gabe Torres singled, scoring one run.

Matt Bedell singled down the right field line, which helped #SheGone tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Hooks flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Dylan Kuester that drove in two.

Dylan Kuester earned the win for Hooks. The starter allowed one hit and one run over four innings, striking out four and walking three. Kevin Young took the loss for #SheGone. The starter went five innings, giving up six runs (zero earned) on seven hits, striking out 13 and walking two. Gabe Torres appeared in relief for Hooks.
