Gabe Torres collected three hits in four at bats, as Hooks defeated Wolves 14-3 on Sunday. Gabe Torres tripled in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the first inning.

Hooks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Nic Nelson tripled to center field, Daniel Zamora grounded out, and Matt Bailey singled to right field, each scoring one run.

A triple by Gabe Torres, a double by Matt Bailey, and a walk by Ethan Lopez helped Hooks extend their early lead in the third.

Hooks scored six runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Daniel Zamora drew a walk, scoring one run, Gabe Torres singled, scoring one run, Nick Zamora singled, scoring two runs, and Steven Mock singled, scoring two runs.

Dylan Kuester earned the win for Hooks. The hurler allowed four hits and three runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Warner Thomas took the loss for Wolves. The hurler went three innings, surrendering seven runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking three. Teryn Byrne collected the save.

Hooks accumulated 11 hits in the game. Nick Zamora and Gabe Torres were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Hooks. Steven Mock and Matt Bailey each collected multiple hits for Hooks. Nic Nelson led Hooks with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 11 walks for the game.

Michael Soto, Jon Briggs, Ty Richardson, and Ayden Burgos each collected one hit for Wolves. Ayden Burgos went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Wolves were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Warner Thomas had the most chances in the field with one.
