Dom Coro collected four hits in four at bats, as Hooks defeated Devil Rays 12-6 on Sunday at McInnish Baseball Fields. Dom Coro singled in the third inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Hooks scored eight runs in the third inning on the way to victory.  Luis Sotomayor tripled, scoring three runs, Ethan Lopez singled, scoring one run, John Otterson singled, scoring one run, Nic Nelson singled, scoring one run, and Dom Coro singled, scoring two runs.

Hooks got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Nic Nelson hit a sacrifice fly, Dom Coro singled to left field, and Steven Mock hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Hooks added one run in the second. Ethan Lopez singled down the right field line, making the score 4-0.

Dylan Kuester earned the win for Hooks. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two. B Lockard took the loss for Devil Rays. The pitcher went two innings, giving up eight runs on five hits, striking out none and walking three. Luis Sotomayor collected the save. Brandon Collins appeared in relief for Hooks.

Hooks piled up 11 hits in the game. Luis Sotomayor and Dom Coro each drove in three runs for Hooks. Ethan Lopez and John Otterson each collected multiple hits for Hooks. Dom Coro stole two bases. Hooks turned two double plays in the game.

Devil Rays collected 10 hits in the game. K Shavers, B Lockard, and D Ward each collected two hits for Devil Rays. B Biggs, M Roberts, C Thompson, K Shavers, B Lockard, and D Ward each drove in one run for Devil Rays.
