Fourth Inning Plays a Key Role in Hooks Blow Out Over Elite - 11.15.22

Hooks defeated Elite 13-1 on Wednesday thanks to a timely seven runs in a big fourth inning. Matt Bailey, Jordan Stickler, Keiji Parkhurst, Nick Zamora, and Steven Mock all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

In the first inning, Hooks got their offense started.

Hooks scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Bailey, Stickler, Parkhurst, Zamora, and Mock all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Tim Abercrombie toed the rubber for Hooks. The southpaw lasted three innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out six.

Zane led things off on the hill for Elite. The pitcher allowed ten hits and 12 runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Bush threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Hooks launched one home run on the day. John Otterson had a four bagger in the third inning.

Hooks tallied 12 hits in the game. Mock and Stickler all collected multiple hits for Hooks. Stickler and Mock each collected two hits to lead Hooks. Hooks didn't commit a single error in the field. Coleman Gamble had six chances in the field, the most on the team.

Bush went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Elite in hits.
