Hooks Secure Win Against Toros

Hooks were victorious against Toros 4-0 on Sunday at Texas Star Baseball Legends Field.

Hooks got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Steven Mock grounded out, and Hooks scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Hooks added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Daniel Zamora doubled, and Steven Mock walked, each scoring one run.

Dylan Kuester earned the win for Hooks. They gave up zero hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking four. Dylan Garcia took the loss for Toros. They went three innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking two.

Steven Mock and Daniel Zamora each drove in one run for Hooks. Daniel Zamora led Hooks with three hits in three at bats. Hooks turned one double play in the game.

Toros turned one double play in the game.

Hooks will travel to Toros for their next game on Sunday.
