Hooks Defeat Hound Dogs On Multiple Hit Performance By Zamora

Daniel Zamora collected three hits in four at bats, as Hooks defeated Hound Dogs 11-1 on Saturday at The Parks at Texas Star. Daniel Zamora singled in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning.

Hooks scored nine runs in the fifth inning on the way to victory. Luis Sotomayor singled, scoring one run, Brayden Berry singled, scoring one run, Andrew Brocious singled, scoring one run, Steven Mock singled, scoring two runs, Gabe Baker doubled, scoring one run, and Daniel Zamora singled, scoring three runs.

Hooks got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Daniel Zamora singled down the left field line, and Luis Sotomayor grounded out, each scoring one run.

Daniel Zamora earned the win for Hooks. The right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Cade Willingham took the loss for Hound Dogs. The hurler went four and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 runs (10 earned) on 11 hits, striking out four and walking five.

Hooks accumulated 11 hits in the game. John Otterson and Gabe Baker each collected multiple hits for Hooks.

Cade Willingham, Jake Willingham, Elexander McCray, and Aidyn Lewis each collected one hit for Hound Dogs. Cade Willingham led Hound Dogs with one run batted in. The leadoff hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Hound Dogs turned one double play in the game.
